currently, there is an increased interest in the thermometers (pyrometers), capable of producing non-contact temperature measurement. The device is characterized by high measurement speed and the possibility to determine the temperature:
- Objects utilities;
- Electrical; and
- processes;
- Objects with energy audit;
- Rotating parts
- Conducting parts;
- Remote object.
The huge popularity of the pyrometers used in the housing. Here they help to quickly detect sources of heat loss. The experts realised that the policy of “cheap” energy held in past years, leading to the construction of buildings, cladding structures which have low heat resistance.
In large-scale construction this problem is of great significance. Of course, the speed of construction of high buildings and large – scale projects. However, all this often accompanied by a variety of defects (structural, technological). Therefore, in the process of operation of buildings the tenants have to spend more on heating of apartments in such houses.
The pyrometer is aimed at the places of possible heat loss, is able to easily determine the presence of drafts and quality:
- Insulation of doorways and window frames;
- Supply and ventilation systems;
- thermal curtains.
The device allows to measure the temperature indoors and outside, helping to define quality:
- Installation of window frames;
- Sealing of joints-joints;
- air-Tightness of roofs.
How to choose a thermometer
the
temperature measurement Range
Buying the system, you should consider the range of the measured temperature. Ie the measured temperature should be in the middle of the temperature range of the device. Most of the pyrometers of the series BALTECH TL is equipped with a laser designator. This element of the thermometer makes it easy to hover over the target. Professional models may have dual built-in laser pointer. When the thermometer is induced in the object under study, two laser beams converge at one point. This achieves an optimal distance to the controlled object.
emissivity
This ratio, sometimes called the “degree of blackness” describes the ability of a surface of an object to emit infrared energy. The emissivity is determined by the relationship of two energies at a specific temperature: specific surface radiated by the blackbody radiation.
Affordable models it is averaged and fixed (0,95). If you measure the temperature of the object, the degree of blackness which is different from 0.95, there will be large errors in the measurements. Therefore, in all models of thermometers by “BALTECH” company there is an opportunity for each facility to establish its emissivity.
Training center
Training center of excellence and training “BALTECH”, encourages all technicians to enroll in our training courses TOR-104, “Rules of measuring and monitoring temperature of objects. Heat NK.
