Digital infrared thermometer

Digital infrared thermometer BALTECH TL-0208C, pyrometers, thermal imagers When you need to determine the temperature of an object (subject) from a safe distance, in the foreground digital infrared thermometer (pyrometer). Contactless device is a great solution for temperature control of objects in special places:

  • Hard;
  • Dangerous;
  • Harmful;
  • Vibrating;
  • Moving;

Hot.

Such a device is designed and calibrated to solve industry problems:

  • Monitor product quality;
  • temperature Measurement in the process;
  • Diagnostic equipment (car, fire extinguishing systems) and maintenance;
  • Control over the production of metals (nonferrous, ferrous), rubber and paper, glass and building materials, and more.

Principle of operation

The principle of operation of infrared thermometers BALTECH TL “ThermaLine” is very simple. The optical system of the thermometer zooms to the selected object and focuses its IR energy to a photosensitive detector. That converts the IR energy into the Electrosignal processed by the microprocessor. Then the value of the temperature based on the emissivity of the sensor and calibration characteristics recalculated. Then the temperature value is displayed on digital display device. Additionally, the software BALTECH-Expert software you can build a trend of temperature measurements in time. The trend in temperature will prompt you in valid or no value on temperature is your object of control.
the Selection of thermometer

Digital infrared thermometer, pyrometer, infrared camera, infrared window, training

The pyrometer must operate at a wavelength where the measured object will have a limit emissivity and behaving like an opaque body. If other conditions are equal, we recommend you to select the IR device operating at shorter wavelengths. For most purposes, universal pyrometer model would be BALTECH TL-0215C.
To prefer the monochrome or two-color pyrometer? We recommend a two-tone device, if the object of measurement:

  • Small, but its temperature is above the background (thin heated wire);
  • Moving and can not get into the field of view of the thermometer;
  • Partially blocked by atmospheric pollution (dust, fog), cold or obstruction;
  • Has a continuously variable (slag, oxide) is the emissivity of the surface.

the range of sight
You can use optical or laser sights.
The first option is recommended when measuring:

  • On a large distance;
  • high-temperature objects (a laser beam is difficult to see);
  • With strong sunlight.

In other cases suggest a laser sight. If you require precise targeting small object, choose a device with a coaxial laser sight.

the Requirements for processing the results
Thermometers (model-dependent) may:

  • Display the result on the display;
  • to Remember;
  • to Transfer it at a distance;
  • Process the results and use them for process control.
