Контактные пирометры

Infrared window, IR window, IR glass, Contact pyrometers, thermocouples for pyrometersTo measure the temperature of the object industry used in contact and contactless (portable, transportable) pyrometers (thermometers). Each of them has advantages and has disadvantages. Here we will focus on contact thermocouples connected to standard thermometers.

What is it and their device

The device, which measured the temperature of the environment in which it is located is called a contact thermometer. Environment are:

  • Solid;
  • Molten (e.g. from welding);
  • Gas;
  • Viscous;
  • Loose;
  • Liquid;
  • Air.

The pyrometers of series “ThermaLine” BALTECH TL consists of the electronic unit and the additional Converter temperatures. Element in the probe and the thermoelectric Converter.

Area

Contact pyrometers are widely used:

  • In power;
  • In the field of maintenance of economy of the cities;
  • To temperature control over the quality of public services;
  • In enterprises, by controlling the temperature of the parts during welding and during their production;
  • In the confectionery and food industry to control temperature processes during heat treatment (baking, boiling, Smoking).

Contact pyrometers shall be used in specially created conditions that will support normal functioning of the device:

  • ambient Temperature should be between 0-50 degrees Celsius;
  • atmospheric pressure in the range of 86-106 kPa;
  • (+35) degrees Celsius relative humidity should be within 80%.

Advantages

Thermometers, Contact thermometers, thermocouples for pyrometers, ThermaLineContact thermometers offer many advantages, which increases the demand and makes the demand of its use, for example, together with welding equipment:multi-function use in different environments;

Accurate temperature measurement of different objects;

No harmful effects;

Variety of thermometers capable of monitoring the temperature in any environment;

Affordable pricing and guarantee accuracy and high quality of carried out measurements.

Contact pyrometers can measure temperature (-20C) degrees Celsius to (+ 200C) degrees. Measurement error could be plus or minus 2%. The pyrometers BALTECH TL are additionally equipped with a 150-millimeter probe and a cable that connects the probe with the electronic unit. Default cable length is one meter, but if the consumer requires a different length, it is possible to increase, but not more than 20 meters.

If you are not able to measure the temperature by contact thermocouple in the pyrometer or the proximity sensor of the pyrometer (e.g., an object is hidden inside the structure), we recommend that you install an infrared window BALTECH TR-55W. If necessary, diagnosis and control of temperature inside the object at any time, you can open the shutter of the infrared glass (window) and perform measurement. This device used special glass (lenses), transparent for the passage of IR radiation.
